
CCF Corps of Drums
Join the Beat!
The Ash Manor CCF: Corps of Drums offers cadets the exciting opportunity to learn and perform military music as part of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Whether you are completely new to music or already have some experience, everyone is welcome to join.
Meeting every Tuesday afternoon from 15:05 to 17:00, the Corps of Drums provides cadets with the opportunity to learn a range of traditional military instruments, including:
- Snare Drum
- Bass Drum
- Bugle
- Flute

No previous musical experience is needed. Our instructors will instruct the cadets from the very beginning, helping them to develop confidence, musical theory, teamwork, and discipline in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
Cadets will learn:
- Basic musical skills and notation
- Marching and military drill movements
- Teamwork and performance skills
Being part of the Corps of Drums is a fantastic way to represent Ash Manor School during parades, remembrance events, community occasions and CCF ceremonies. It is also a great opportunity to make friends, learn a new skill, and become part of a proud military tradition.
