SSLT 2022-23
We are proud to be the 2022/23 Senior Student Leadership Team for Ash Manor School. As a team we are all looking forward to taking on our new role for the next school year. The SSLT are here to liaise between students and staff with the aim to make school life enjoyable for everyone.
Our goals this year are:
• To introduce a mentor system for the new year 7 students. Year 9 and 10 mentors would work with the new year 7 tutor groups supporting them with their move from primary to secondary school.
• Improve communication and leadership between tutor reps (year 7-9), house reps (year 10) student and provide more opportunities for these student to contribute to shaping our school.
• Raise greater awareness of places and people who can support students with their mental health
In addition to this we want to champion student voice and implement improvements when needed.
